Past Events

Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce Luncheon
On May 11, 2022, one of our project ambassadors and staff members attended the May luncheon to talk about pedestrian safety and share brochures with community members during Bizz Buzz. We asked them to be alert, watch out for walkers and rollers, and stop to let them cross the street safely.

Public Works Day
Our staff attended Public Works Day on May 19, 2022 and greeted Lewis Clark Valley 1st-3rd graders with a game of Red Light, Green Light to teach them about pedestrian safety. Each student received an activity sheet with a maze to safely map their way from home to school along with safety word games to remind them about street safety and safely walking and biking.
This grant is sponsored by the Washington State Traffic Commission. If you would like to be involved, contact Cynthia Tierney at 509.758.8349 or by email.
